Updating usb driver please wait
I read some article, that HP and Microsoft knew this problem, but because new kind of functions/etc, there are/was some problems, especially with Vista users.
So, because Plug and Play technology, you may found that Device manager tell you that you don't have a Monitor, lol.
Instead Monitor "Access Denied" , i got "Access Denied", when i tried to upgrade Ge Force driver., not a easy one, but gladly i tried old drivers from HP-site, and i saw error message about some Software and Global, and i remember those registry keys, because i wasn't able to clean all registry settings by n Vidia in past (didn't knew permission thing then).
Previously Delusion/The Delusion (hence the nick, lol) I came across this thread trying to fix the same issues - dvd's were not playing properly and I tried the steps at portrait and it worked for me. I have two HP DVD drives on my machine and when I put a commercial dvd in the drive that came with the machine, it only works in cyberlink powerdvd.
Within device manager can you confirm both exactly how the products icon is named and is the icon listed under the section ‘Other Devices’ or ‘USB IO Controlled Devices’?
I quote myself, because i haven't had any problems with my Ge Force 8500 GT and HP w2207h LCD screen - anymore, until now.
Can you confirm version of Windows which you are using? Have you tried connecting the DSi Action Replay directly to an alternative known working USB connection?

If your DSi Action Replay does have a micro SD card slot, confirm that your DSi Action Replay is using an earlier firmware version by selecting ‘Options’ from the DSi Action Replay home screen.
